Inspired by a legend, built on compassion

The Soul Fixin Foundation was established in memory of the legendary blues musician, Luther Allison. Known for his profound love for others, expressed through his music and generous spirit, Luther left a lasting legacy. Upon his passing, his widow granted long-time friend Michael Widner exclusive permission to use Luther's "Soul Fixin" brand, with the promise that all donations would go directly to helping others. What began by assisting struggling blues musicians with medical costs has evolved into the help-driven foundation we are today, dedicated to serving forgotten communities.
